By Car: Rhode Island’s central location along the eastern seaboard makes it easily accessible by car. Several major interstate highways pass through the state, including I-95, which runs north-south along the East Coast. If you’re traveling from the north, I-195 provides a direct route into Providence and continues to the southeastern part of the state. By Air: Rhode Island has two main airports that serve domestic and international flights: T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Warwick and Block Island State Airport (BID) in New Shoreham. T.F.
